Nebraska Basketball Academy

Our Rec League is a developmental league that focuses on the fundamentals and learning to play the game for Boys and Girls.  If your child wants to join a league that will give them the opportunity to learn basketball in a fun atmosphere this will be for them.

Season: January to February 2026

What it includes:

1- Hour practice per week, one combine practice to determine teams (late December) regular practice starts week of January 5^th.

1- Game per week- Sat (younger ages) or Sun (older ages) starting Jan 10^th.

6 regular season games and 2 tournament games (Total 8 games)

All practices and games will be at Nebraska Basketball Academy 5121 N 132^nd St, Omaha NE 68164

Team makeup: 6 teams per grade grouping, 7-8 players per team, limited to 48 players per grade grouping. Boys and Girls will play together, unless there are enough girls to fill a league, then they will have own league.

If you want to join a team with a friend, please fill out friend/teammate field and we will try to accommodate.

Grade Grouping:

1^st - 2^nd

3^rd – 4th

5^th – 6^th

7^th – 8^th

Cost: Includes practice, games and T-Shirt

Early bird until Oct 15^th $99/player

From: Oct 15^th until Dec 12th:

Member price: $120/player

Non-member price: $135/player

To keep the price reasonable, we are looking for volunteer coaches for the teams. Each coach will go through an orientation and will be taught our training process. Please email [email protected] if you would like to coach or look for coaches sign up in the league options.
